Smoothies are a staple in our home because they are quick, easy, and help to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This yogurt smoothie is only 250 calories and is packed with protein, fiber, and antioxidants. This is my favorite breakfast smoothie recipe; it’s light and delicious and can be enjoyed by the entire family.


1/2 cup water

6 ounces fat-free Greek yogurt

1/2 cup frozen strawberries and banana (4 small frozen strawberries and about half a small banana)

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1 tablespoon ground flaxseed meal

1 tablespoon cinnamon

Dash of organic raw agave sweetener or honey (optional)

Put ingredients in a blender and blend on high for at least 30 seconds. This mixture will yield about 12 ounces of smoothie.
