Carrie On: Exercising Again After Having Twins

“When am I going to get my mojo back?” I once asked Twin Mom Ashley (who has a killer figure and always has). She said, “Carrie, it is going to take at least as long as you were pregnant.” So I knew it would take at least nine to 10 months. And in reality, for me it took about a year and a half and required correcting what I was eating in the end to lose those last few pounds.

Today, I weigh the same as I did pre-pregnancy. My tummy still does not look quite the same, but it is close. And I was stretched to the gills, so I am proud of where I am now. I gained over 60 pounds with my twins, Drew and Celeste.

Getting back into your skinny jeans is possible. For me, it took a combination of watching my diet and doing cardio workouts, strength training, and yoga whenever and wherever I could fit them in. Here are some lessons I learned along the way:
